All aboard! Granada!

Last weekend I went to Granada. This is the city most suggested by guide books, Spaniards, and pretty much everyone. These pictures are mostly of the alhambra and some of the city. The alhambra is what was a muslim palace and then was later sold to King Carlos V. What resulted is a beautiful marvel of the 2 very different cultures. I really love the contrast and now I want to learn arabic. I think the writing is really interesting and I walked around wandering what the walls were saying. Probably verses from the Koran but it would still be awesome to go back one day and really know word for word.
